Resolved: notes of meeting held on 28-08-03 be approved

Resolved:

36478/3 9 Chester Road Extension No objection

36485/3 104 Macclesfield Road Extension No objection

36490/3 6 Hillcrest Ave Alterations Concern that work has started already; and dormers appear to be above original roof line

5. CAD - Kinderton

Clerk gave an update and discussed arrangements for public meeting to be held on 23-10-03. Agreed:

  • ACR take chair
  • Clerk give main presentation
  • Speaker from Middlewich on how to object
  • CBC officer to discuss technical points

6. Updates

1. Cranage playing pitches Tender accepted and work started

2. River crossing Clerk waiting to hear of progress on land acquisition

3. Joint committee Agreed Clerk try to arrange meeting before next A&P on 20-11-03

4. Dane Valley CBC had reported most areas now under some form of maintenance following equipment repairs; some areas to be left in natural state including nettles and thistles; management plan being reviewed

5. CBC policy on play areas Clerk still waiting for update from CBC

7. Planting

  1. Bulbs Planting carried out by Scouts Chairman arranging publicity
  2. Trees Informal discussion with John Clowes of Village Volunteers before formal opening of meeting when following points discussed and agreed:

  • JC to prepare plans for tree planting in various parts of village this would include memorial trees including tree for Lawrence Massey
  • Views expressed that memorial trees should not have plaques
  • Council to contribute 500

9. Public conveniences

CBC arranging consultation meetings. This affects work of Village Volunteers who need to be kept informed
