MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Thursday 15 February 2001 at 7.30 p.m.

2. Cranage Playing Pitches
Two members and the Clerk of Cranage Parish Council attended the meeting.
Resolved: this matter be discussed as private and confidential business.
Clerk to report to CBC

3. Byley gas storage application
A letter was received from Cranage PC regarding costs of approx. £4,000 incurred in this matter.
Resolved: a contribution of £500 be made.

4. Agenda
Resolved: the next A&P meeting be changed to a full Council meeting to complete the remainder of the agenda (except for the following items) and to enable further discussion on the Cranage playing pitches before the auction to be held on 6 March 2001.

5. Minutes
Minutes were circulated for confirmation at meeting on 1 March 2001.

6. I.T.
Members asked to consider the success or otherwise of circulating information by e-mail – to be discussed at a future meeting

7. CBC meetings
Leisure Centre Management –26 February 2001 – TJH and YDM to attend
“At Home” – 27 February 2001 – Chairman and Clerk to attend

8. Good Companions site
Clerk reported that planning application likely to be heard on 12 March 2001 without further amendment – agreed original objections to be confirmed

9. Planning applications
The following applications considered and resolved no objection:
26 Coniston Drive – extension
17 Hawthorne Close – conservatory
41 Chestnut Drive – conservatory (JB declared an interest)

10. Macclesfield Road
Letter received re temporary closures of Macclesfield Road for bridge repairs.
